Catechism is a 3-year program at Hosanna. 6th and 7th graders attend
classes every other week on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The pastors teach Wednesday classes on Luther's Catechism and the Old
and New Testaments. The 8th grade year is an apprenticeship program
where students shadow a council or committee member and work on
projects.
All three grades are required to attend Sunday School, participate in
two retreats during the school year, and work on service projects.
Attendance at summer camp is recommended but not required. The fee for
catechism each year is $70, which covers materials and the retreats.
